In 2019 the EMI Science and Technology Park hosts Solar Decathlon Europe - the ultimate international university competition in innovative homebuilding competition.
The Solar Decathlon Europe is an international competition that challenges university teams to design and build houses powered exclusively by the renewable energy sources. The aim of the competition is to promote architectural solutions related to solar energy, renewable energies and innovative technologies through the prototypes built by competing university teams.
The Living Lab is operated as a visitor center.
